I often talk about the importance of experimenting with photography. I also realise that most people will hate this photograph. However, one of the things I look for when photographing animals is to try to come up with something a little different. One of those is where the animal ‘reveals’ itself, especially those animals that often take advantage of the local flora to hide.

This is the case with this elephant. The lack of colours is another aspect that makes this photograph appeal to me. It begins to become an abstract image. So, whether you love it or hate it, here’s a hidden elephant!
