I’m not the best person at getting up early in the morning, but I’m almost always glad to have made the effort. This particular morning was no exception and the clear skies promised a very hot day… which duly arrived while we were walking.

This was taken on the EHRA 25^th anniversary sponsored walk. EHRA do a lot of work with the local population in Namibia and helps them to live peacefully with one of the last populations of African Desert Elephants. They are one of the projects I support through sales of my photographs. You can find out more under the “Conservation Projects” tab.
