Location: Kanha Tiger Reserve, India
India is a beautiful country although my pet hate is getting through all the bureaucracy whilst travelling in and out. Kanha reserve is a 5-hour drive from Nagpur in the Madhya Pradesh region. The country here is amazing and they have a very sound approach to environmental and wildlife protection, especially the local population of Bengal Tigers.
I was very lucky to see this beautiful animal on one of my later trips. I made seventeen trips into the reserve in the ten days I was there and saw tigers on half of them. This was most definitely one of the better sightings and this tiger walked past the front of our car.
