The Kazinga Channel has to be my favorite wildlife location in Uganda. The channel runs between Lake Edward (straggling the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo) and Lake George. There was a huge amount of birdlife, as well as plenty of buffalo, hippos and even a few crocodiles.
The Palm-nut vulture occupies similar habitats to the African Fish Eagle, but this is the first time I’ve come across one.
