This whale is one of a pair we found during one trip. They were hanging vertically and thrashing their tails. I find that these meetings make me appreciate the power of humpback whales, particularly their tails.
Sometimes whales will hang upside-down like this for several minutes, thrashing their tails. Once again, we can only speculate as to why they do it. Whatever the reason, it is very impressive to watch.
Consider mounting it with ‘Tail Action’.
