I spent the first part of my life in England and going for a ‘Chinese’ was a regular occurrence for many people. This giraffe is enjoying ‘Chinese lanterns’. These were in flower while I was there in February 2020 and I thought they were beautiful. I think this giraffe had the same thought but for different reasons.
We would often find giraffe in small groups of grazing and browsing on their own. On this occasion, there were half a dozen of them spread out on either side of the road quietly browsing.
